Medals Awarded.—By order of Gen. Gilmore,
medals of honor have been distributed among the men under
his command who were most distinguished for gallant and
meritorious conduct during the siege of Forts Wagner and
Gregg. The 104th Regiment, having formed a part of this
force, come in for a share of the credit. Medals were award-
ed to and received by the following-named soldiers of the
regiment :--Company A, Sergeant John J. Wigton, private
Charles Williams ; Company B, Corporal Evan Stover ; Com-
pany C, private Wm. Keeler ; Company D, Sergeant Levi
A Rosenberger ; Company E, privates Jacob S. Aberbeck,
Theodore G. Haggins, Aaron Ferrell ; Company F, privates
Wm. Reagin, Alfred Eastburn ; Company G, Corporal Jonas
Gaddes, private Timothy Curley ; Company H, Sergeant
Wm. Strawbridge, Corporal John P. Hansum ; Company I,
private Seneca Beal ; Company K, Corporal B. Frank Jar-
rett, private Joseph V. Howell.
