Affairs at Camp Lacy.--Over eight hundred men

are now encamped on the old exhibition ground, west of

Doylestown, filling the ranks of the Ringgold Regiment

nearly to their full complement.  Over one hundred tents

are pitched in regular order upon the greensward, and

everything wears the appearance of an established camp.

The whole encampment,  Under a special order of the Col-

onel, is under command of Capt. E. L. Rogers.  Visitors

are admitted every day except Sunday when the camp

will be open only from 3 to 6 o’clock.  The men, as fast

as they have been examined and sworn in, have received

their uniforms, and now all of them appear in bran new

suits of Uncle Sam’s manufacture.  They are apparently

comfortable and contented in camp, where they find plenty

of exercise in going through the drill and taking their

turns at standing guard.  The blue uniforms and measured

tread of the volunteers may be seen and heard in our

streets at all hours of the day, and their appearance at

times gives Doylestown almost the air of a garrisoned post.

The men have as yet received no arms.  We give below a

list of the officers in camp, with the number of men under
