Ringgold Color Guards.—A few days ago a per-

manent guard was selected for the colors of the Ringgold

Regiment, composed of the following named Corporals. 

There were twenty-seven volunteers for this honorable but

dangerous post, from which number but eight could be

elected viz:

David Carter, Company F.

Hiram Purcell, Company G.

Nelson McGraudy, Company H.

William Lex, Company E.

Julius Y. Tyson, Company C.

Thomas B. Widdifield, Company A.

John R. Bridegroom, Company D.

William B. Nichols, Company I.
