Health of the Ringgold Regiment. —I It appears from

the statements of one of our correspondents in the Ring-

gold Regiment, who had a full opportunity of know-

ing the facts, that the amount of sickness among the men,

though at one time threatening to be serious, has thus far

been far less than in the other regiments of the same bri-

gade.  He attributes their comparative exemption to the

rigourous exclusion of rum and filth, and we believe he is

right.  Health cannot exist in a large body of men where

these evils prevail without interference.  The people of

Bucks county who have sons or friends in the regiment,

will appreciate the care of the officers in protecting the

men from the vile influences that too often surround a

camp.

An official return of all the sick in camp or in the hos-

pital, on each day from November 15 to December 13,

verified by the Colonel, makes the following exhibit :
