Dear wife I set down this

afternoon to write you a line  I

am well and hope this may find

you injoying the same blessing 

I got no letter from you ? ? 

I wrote last week I looked for

one to day it didn’t Come  I

look for one to morrow or next

day  I am anchious to hear if

your money got home safe

I suppose you wood like to know

something about me Comeing

home  we are ordered to be mustered

out immediately and discharged 

the order is to leave here to morrow

and go to Philadelphia or harris

burg  I am not shore which place we

will go but it dont matter so we

get discharged soon  I wish to get

home soon if possible it is no mistake
