Cousin Han and Citizens of Pine Run in general,

Here we are all safe. Our Company
attracted considerable attention in passing
through the city (Philadelphia) yesterday. People
remarked it was the best drilled
company that has left the city since the
commencement of the war. We formed
at the depot, Front and Willow and
marched to the Diligence Engine House,
loth and Filbert, and got a first rate
dinner at a private house near by
provided by Abraham Dunlap, a relation of
Dr. Hedrie. After dinner we
went to the Girard House and got
pants, blouses and overcoats for the
