Cousin Han,
             Well we are in camp once
more, our tents are all pitched and we
are prepared to live here two or three
months if the weather does not get too
cold. We arrived at this place last
night about 8 or 9 o'clock, it is a
beautiful situation on a high piece
of ground but it is too small for
a parade ground. We slept on the
ground last night not waiting to
put up our tents. This morning there
was a heavy frost, blankets and every
thing was covered with frost which
had the appearance of a small
snow, but no one got sick and every
one is now well, and there has been
less sickness than was in any day at
Doylestown. We are about three miles
above Washington, but I guess we will
not stay here long as I heard that
Maj. Ramsey who has command at the
Arsenal refused to let Col.Cake bring
his regt. there but is waiting for Col.
Davis to bring his and the Col. has
