Vera Fennell, Peter Abbott's granddaughter, served as national president of the GAR, and as president of the Pennsylvania Department of the GAR.
Samuel S Conrad, son of Samuel Conrad (E), was a messenger for the GAR in 1880, when he was 14 years old.
James Beeman (H)'s grave has a GAR flagholder.
John Schwartz (K) is buried in the "South Side GAR Cemetery", in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

At least in 1889, the Post Hall was at Broad Street and Columbia Avenue ('A man twice dead'. Weekly Register-Call (Central City CO), 15 February 1889 (issue 35), column F).
