0900 Breakfast was served - good as always.

0950 "Round-Robin" individual introductions by all.

1010 Discussions & past experiences of various individual vacation travel locations,
experiences & procedures by those who have utilized Space "A" travel at some
point.

Relative to the above, the book Military Space "A" Opportunities was passed
Around. Price on this book was $13.00. They have a website: www.militaryliving.com

The book can be obtained in the exchanges.

"Old-timer" reminiscing stories.

It was noted that Roy Lobb had passed away as did Roger Pierce. As in Roger's
case, it was kept very quite without notifications.

Discussed and well received was the idea to have retirees speak to the younger guardspeople concerning the benefits and the reason to stay in. All appeared to be in favor of this endeavor. Finepoints of execution were not discussed.

Information was also given out (by Spear) on the calculation formulas to determine retired pay and also information on contacting SFC Helt at the Military Department on getting a copy of your retirement points. His contact information is 503-584-3574 or email (preferred) [email protected]
