Cpt Brann, Retiree Wills

The Military Department will do 'Wills for Retirees' at no cost. When the Jag Office is doing wills for units as part of the Soldier Readiness Program (SRP), retirees can show up and thiers can be completed along with unit soldiers. To find out when SRP's are scheduled near you, contact the Battalion Administrative Officer (AO) in your area or Chief Peyton at the Military Department. "Living Trust Wills" are not part of this program and not available.

Space "A" Travel: Russ Bloom gave a brief presentation and provided a hand out with Email contact information for Travis AFB: www.travisafb.com and Mcchord AFB: www.mcchordafb.com Want another location? Who is eligible for TRICARE? Uniformed services retirees are generally defined as those who served 20 or more years on active duty or in the reserves, and are eligible for retired or retainer pay. Legislation passed last October (2000) provides TRICARE pharmacy and medical benefits to retirees and their eligible family members who are age 65 and over and eligible for Medicare Part A.

Plan for next Retiree Breakfast. It was suggested and agreed to plan the next breakfast for March-April 2002. Russ Bloom volunteered to organize time and location.
