Army Morale Welfare Recreation
PurposeRetirees of 2/162 Infantry meet occasionally to enjoy a meal, share information and visit with other retirees, members and former members of 2/162 Infantry and the Oregon Army National Guard. This began with a few retirees in Eugene getting together and enjoying each other's company in 1999. In January 2000 the Breakfast Meeting was expanded to include all interested Retirees and Members. The January 2000 meeting also had speakers and shared information helpful to or of interest to this group and retirees.
