The 2nd Battalion 162nd Infantry, 41st SIB, ORARNG, Retiree Breakfast Club is a group of retirees and/or former members of the 2nd Battalion, 162 infantry and other Battalions of the 41st Infantry Bridgade that get together occasionally and share a meal and renew friendships. GenealogyLinus Bushnell Family, Journey on the Oregon Trail, 1851-1852
The Bushnell Family and other related families departed Cedar County, Iowa in the spring of 1851 and arrived in Oregon in July 1852. Known families on this wagon train were Linus BUSHNELL, Beckwith COOK, Seley M. COOK, Joel B. COOK, Horace RICE, John A. HARRY, Alfred B. COLLVER, Henry B. SMITH, Absalom BOLTON, Abraham CUTLIP and possibly Daniel BOLTON. These families settled in Douglas and Lane counties. Some later moved to Marion, Polk, Wasco and Coos counties in Oregon.
