This page contains sections taken from War of the Rebellion, Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. Also a history of the Third Regiment Louisiana Infantry. They fought in five major battles, included is the official reports from the different officers involved. Rosters of all known men who fought in the different companies are included. There is a partial list of the casualties from the different battles. The photographs are officers both Confederate and Federal who fought with and against each other.
