Amos H. Robinson

 

Pvt. Amos H. Robinson originally enlisted at Ft. Brown and was in Co. I of the Second Texas Cav. On July 1, 1861. He was enlisted by Capt. Littleton and was 18 years old at the time. His horse was valued at $ 80 and his equipment at $ 25. 

Muster Roll of December 31, 1861 indicates that he was paid $ 72 for the use of his horse. He is now listed as 19 years old.
Muster Roll of June 20, 1862 it notes that he has reenlisted while stationed at Carricitas which is near Edinburg Texas.
Muster Roll of February 1864 notes that he has been transferred out of Co. I and into Co. K on February 1.
Muster Roll of July 1864 - Absent without leave since July 15.
Muster Roll of August 1864 notes that he is on furlough.
Muster Roll of May 1864 states that he is on Detached Service by order of Lt. Walker and was to go home as of April 26th.
