B. F. Burris

The only record found is a Prisoner of War Discharge. It is dated Aug. 8, 1865 and he is paroled at Galveston Texas.

(Note, this is believed to be Benjamin Franklin Burris.)

It is apparent that B. F. Burris may have served in Terry's Texas Rangers.  There is not enough information to conclude why Mr. Burris also appears to have served in the 2nd Texas Cavalry.  Benjamin Franklin Burris has a page as well as photos posted on the Terry's Texas Ranger Site.
