Martin Turner

Martin enlisted on September 23, 1861 in Brownsville Texas.( Ft. Brown)  He enlisted at the age of 26 and for a period of 12 months. He was using his own horse which the Cavalry valued at $ 75.00 and his equipment at $ 25.  The Muster Rolls of November
1861 and Jan.1, 1862 state that he has deserted as of Oct. 26, 1861.
