Muster Roll - October 31, 1862 - indicates that he enlisted on June 26, 1862 at Helena by Capt. Donelson. He was last paid by Capt. Gary. His horse is valued at $ 120, his equipment at $ 35 and is paid $ 24.40 for the use of his horse.
Muster Roll - June 1863 - Paid $ 48.80 for the use of his horse. He is sick in the hospital in New Iberia. ( Note - New Iberia is in Louisiana )
Muster Roll - Feb. 1864 - Present , joined from desertion on Jan. 21, 1864. A later record notes that he deserted from Camp Webb.
