Tim J. Cude - 2nd Texas Cavalry CO K

Tim J. Cude

Tim J. Cude was born about 1846 in Walker County, Texas.  He died on September 17, 1929 in SanAntonio, Bexar County, Texas at the home of his son-in-law, R. E. S. Street, on Kayton Ave.

Tim filed for his civil war pension, # 14657, on August 7, 1909.  He was age 63 and a resident of Beeville, Bee County, Texas for 10 years and listed himself as a laborer. He enlisted in February 1854.  No Military Record was found.  Affidavits were signed by Albert Brown Butler and Calvin Jones, both having served in Company K.

Note: He may have actually enlisted in 1864, which would account for him not being listed on the roster.
