William S. Moore

( Pvt.) enlisted by Capt. John Donelson on Sept. 23, 1861 at Ft. Brown Texas. He enlisted at the age of 20 and for a period of 12 months. The Cavalry set a value on his horse of $75 and his equipment at $ 20.

Muster Roll of Jan. 1, 1862.  - Paid $ 24.40 for the use of his horse. Transferred to Capt. Tobins unit on Sept.27, 1862

Muster Roll of Oct. 1864 - He is back in Co. K.    Noted that he is absent, on furlough for 14 days since Sept.18, 1864
